Black Canyon

Steve's parents planed and excecuted a family reunion to Black Canyon.  Black Canyon is near Pine Lake.  Pine Lake is near Bryce Canyon.  As a young girl, Laurel, spent many family campouts at Black Canyon.  The tradition carried on to Steve's childhood and  now our children's childhood.  We make fun mediories each time we go to Black Canyon.  In fact, my first real camping adventure was at Black Canyon.  Steve and I had been married about six months and I even caught my first fish there.

We found out that Nate is an excellent wiffle ball player.  He has perfect form and excellent timing when hitting the ball.  Maybe we will have to try baseball next spring.
 

Shelby was the hit of the reunion.  All of the little cousins fell in love with  her.  Tyler, like always, was a  good sport and assisted the little cousins in many activities.  He helped them roast marshmellows, take hikes, and walk the dog.  Here he is with Norah, Kim's youngest.

Unfortunately someone always has an injury and Zoe was the lucky one.  She got a fish hook stuck in her cheek.  She was very brave as Steve looked at it and even braver when the Dr. took it our.

Breathtaking sunsets

Each morning the boys and a few of the girls went fishing up in the canyon.  They had successful  fishing excursions.  So much so that they had to start releasing what they caught.
