Weekend Happenings

Here are the Boys at the Hurricane Game. You might notice that we are sitting on the track. The boys think it is so great because the Hurricane Fire Dept gets to sit on the track for all home football games. I think it is great because we get to sit in comfy chairs and the kids get to run around the whole time.

Friday night we took all of the boys to the Hurricane High School Football game. It was a special night here in Hurricane because KUTV 2 News from Salt Lake was visiting. Each week they chose a High School and celebrate them as "Prep Game of the Week" This was the first time they have done this in Southern Utah. They landed the helicopter right on the middle of the field! They boys thought it was so cool. Except Nate. He thought it might land right on top of us.

It has been tough getting Burkeley to come to our house on the weekends because he is SO involved in his school sporting activities. But we were lucky this weekend because Hurricane was playing Desert Hills High--which is Burke's school. Burke has been running Cross County for his school. He is quite a good runner. But he is a better big brother and son. He came to our house this weekend just to help Dad and Grandpa Clark build a block wall on the side of our house. He was a good sport about it and worked hard all day. More pictures of the block wall building in the next post.
