I came across this great idea....see http://tuesdaytellall.blogspot.com/ to do this---"TTA is the brainchild of my friend Sally and myself (Marcie). The two of us set up blogs to stay in touch, but also, mainly, to keep a record of things that are important to us. We use our blogs as a kind of journal. We hope to record day to day events and thoughts that we don't want to be forgotten. We decided it would be great to set aside one day each week to post about things that would be valuable to record........for ourselves and for our children to read later."
This week tell us about your favorite or least favorite job that you've had OUTSIDE of the home (we know the hardest job is being a Mom). Or just take a minute to document the jobs you've had.
SOOO I am going to give it a try and I encourage all of my blogging buddies to also try it!
My first job was when I was 14 and I worked at a nursing home. I changed bedding and helped feed the patients. I loved it! But, I did have my two cute boy friends working with me. Well they were not by boyfriends both at the same time. When I learned how to drive I worked for an Auto parts store. I delivered parts to all the body shops. That was also a fun job for teenager! Then I worked for the City of Boulder City--I was a summer day camp assistant, lifeguard, cashier, swim teacher and swim coach. I spent tons of time at the pool and have some of my best memories of my teenage years from the pool days! When I moved to Cedar City to go to school, I worked at the Cedar Swimming pool. Also as a coach and a lifeguard. Finally, after I got married I didnt look to cute in a swim suit so I started working at Walmart as a Cashier. I enjoyed that job. I got insurance, walmart stock and a great discount. I worked at Walmart all through my early married years and throgh college. As soon as I was finished student teaching I got a job teaching second grade at Sunset Elementary. I then moved to West Elem and I taught there for 8 years. I was a kindergarten and first grade teacher then I was literacy coach for a few years. I moved to Riverside Elem, then to Horizon and now I am at Three Falls teaching first grade!!!!! WOW! I have made tons of teaching changes...some not my choice (some of you know what I am talking about) but all the changes have taught me lots and I have learned about loyalty, hard work, and integrity! This is the first year in about 4 years that I will not have to move schools or classrooms! It will be so nice on the last day of school to lock my door and come back in the fall.

That is a great idea!!! I remember you being a lifeguard and Zac and I walking (or riding) our bikes to go swim. You have always been very busy! I also remember the swimsuit I think my dad bought for you "Budwiser"...is that right? You have always been someone that I have really looked up too and respected, especially since becoming a mother...love you!!!
Wow I had no idea about all of your fun jobs, especially the wal mart one. I am soooo glad you are at Three Falls. WE love you there, and you are such a great asset to our school, for real! Your layout is cute, but I don't know why it won't let you change your header.....weird!
