I came across a creative blogger that does Photo Challenge for each month. Click here if you are interested in seeing her site. But here is the basics--
"For those stumbling across this for the first time, this is a photo a day challenge. Each day you look at the list and there will be a prompt that corresponds with the date of the month. For example day one is peace, so for day one you'll take a photo of something around the peace {a peace sign, something that's peaceful in your life, you doing a peace sign with your hands etc}. You then share the photo on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, your blog, Pinterest, Flickr or where ever you want to share it.
It's a fun way to be creative every day and it's so much to be part of. Anyone can play {even if you haven't played before}."

I decided to play along but I only post on my own instagram page. I do not link to the others. You can join/play too. Just download the instagram app on your smartphone. Its easy and fun to use. You can follow me--my instagram username is srbtaln.
The following is my April 2012 Photo-A-Day challenge:
10. Sunset 11. Where I ate breakfast 12. Stairs 13. Something I found 14. How I feel today 15. Sunset (I messed up. Day 10 should have been "Cold." I took a photo of my cold feet.) 16. Flower 17. Something I don't like 18. Hair
19. Orange 20. Something I drew (blood) 21. Bottle 22. The last thing I bought. 23. Vegetables 24. Something I am grateful for 25. Looking down 26. Black and White 27. Somewhere I went
28. 1 p.m. 29. Circle 30. Something that makes me sad
Then the rest are just some other shots I took during the month: me giving blood for the first time EVER, Burke and Shari, Hot Lunch Ladies, Bryant's Wedding, What I did with two hours to myself, Steve and Tyler going the the Priesthood Session during LDS general conference.
The April photochallenge was fun. It helped me be creative and see the world in a different way. I also liked that it really made me focus on my surroundings. It really only takes a few minutes out of my day but then I could reflect on the little things that I usually do not pay attention to.
Here is the photo challenge for May. Join along.
