Track Season Begins

 Tyler is always looking to one up his Dad and by learning to throw the Javelin he hopes to do just that.

You see, Steve was the Region 9 State Champion for Dixie High School in Javelin.  Steve threw 190 feet.  Then as Sophomore at SUU he threw 200 feet.

 Tyler sure does have a lot to learn and a long way to go before he is as good as his Dad ONCE was.

At Tylers first meet of the season he threw 119 feet.  He is quick to remind us that the Javelin has changed a bit and due to this change the Javelin now averages about 20 feet less.  So, in reality, he has to throw about 50feet further to beat his Dad.  Good thing he is just a Freshman!!
