Introducing....Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lyman

Thomas is my cousin.  Actually,he is my only male cousin on my mom's side. Some people think it is strange that I am so involved with my cousin's lives and even more strange that I am blogging about my cousins weddings.  Let me explain.  My Grandpa and Grandma (on my mom's side) had three daughters.  Those three daughters each had two children.  We all lived in the Las Vegas area while we were little (the cousins).  We were kinda like siblings.  We spent each birthday and holiday together. We still laugh and love together. We are a tight little family. Our mom's still talk to each other daily.  I am the oldest grandchild (and of course the favorite granddaughter and niece).  Addie, she got married in June, is the youngest grandchild (the most spoiled).  In between us we have Melinda and Amanda (sisters), Zach (my brother), and Thomas (Addie's brother).  The girl cousins have fun together. We need to play more often because we have fun. We laugh about the funny things that we remember about our childhood and we laugh even more about the crazy things that are happening in our lives right now.  Its fun because even though there are years between us we are all in the same stage in life.  Enough about us because this blog post is supposed to be about Thomas and Chantelle!

All the girl cousins!  I wonder if we have a picture
of all of us when we were little?  Anyone?

My boy and Addie
I was about 10 when Addie was born and I think she
was about that same age when Tyler was born.

These two photo's are my fav pictures from the night.  It defines a moment in time that I will always remember.  One day we will sit in someones family room and retell the story of how Addelyn danced the night way.  She was the hit of the reception. Her ability to put on a show comes naturally and it was hilarious to watch.  At one point, Jamey tried to dance with her.  She quickly asked him to "Pretend you are a monster.  Now, pretend you are a monster that sits down."  She did not want him to upstage her production.  I also heard her say, "How bout you sit down?"  Finally a slow song came on and we encouraged Tyler to dance with her.  As you can tell in the top photo she is telling him to get out of the way.  Then in his charming way he is trying to convince her to dance with him.  She will not have anything to do with it!

Congrats Thomas and Chantelle!  Thank you for letting me be a part of your beautiful day.  You two are perfect for each other!  Enjoy each other and Chantelle, welcome to the Family!

How great that you have the relationship with cousins. My dad is one of 11, each with at least 5+ kids. We only got all together once or twice a year. Needless to say, I don't know most of them very well.
