I am taking this post inspiration directly from Pam Dana. She recently posted that she felt that often times blog posts were about the "kodak moments" in life. All the good, easy and carefree times. She pointed out that life is not at all easy and we are not perfect. So, why not blog about it.
- We have a man from our Ward that just shows up at our door at random times in the evening. He always has important things to say BUT this is the generation of telephones and a warning call, at the least, would be so appropriate. I really just want to show up at the door in my garments (underwear) one time. Just to prove a point. Although I am sure he wouldnt get it.
- Going to church is hard for me to do each week.
- I just barely moved my treadmill into a perfect position to walk and watch TV. But, I have not gotten on it yet.
- I always screen my phone calls. Like my cousin Addie once said, My cell phone is scrictly for MY convience. (Maybe that is why the above man shows up at our door)
- I am so nervous about teaching Second Grade MATH.
- I love new technology. I like to have the latest gaget. Good thing I have a husband and kids that do not mind hand me downs. (my new I-pad will be delivered sometime next week!!!)
- Dooney and Bourke purses are my fashion addiction. A cute purse makes me feel great!
- Being a mom of a teenage boy is so much harder than I thought it would be. Im afraid for us.
- My favorite place to be right now is in my new classroom. I love to organize, decorate and plan for the upcoming year.
- Dt. Coke! All I can say is that I get Kidney Stones, often, so I shouldnt drink it at all, but...

Ha ha! You are so funny. I totally agree with the cell phone thing. I rarely answer it because I just don't feel like it at that moment. I'm glad you are loving your new classroom. I loved it there :) Don't even worry about the math. It is almost exactly the same as the 1st grade math, except they have more experience with it so I think it is even easier to teach! At least you have a treadmill. I haven't even gotten to that point...but I think about it often. Does that count?
I'm with you on the "Kodak" moments blogs. There is one blog I continue to read even though it makes me feel like the worst mom/wife/hostess/anything ever because everything she posts is perfect.
Now I know who to call when I can't help me 2nd grader with his math. ;)

What a great post! Of course that is what I love about you and have always loved about you is you keep it real! I know I can always say and do anything with you and you will still love me! And by the way 2nd grade math is a review of first until the end of the year! I think you are smart enough to handle it!!!
