Steve had to work on New Years Eve so the boys and I decided to have a little party. Austin really didn't believe that I was going to let him go outside at 12 o'clock and bang on pots and pans. Luke truly didn't think that I would let them stay up past 8 o'clock. We rented a few movies and as soon as the movie started this is what I found.
Austin tried so so hard to stay up late. He even volunteered to clean for me so that he had something to do so he would not fall asleep. I went to my room to watch the Anderson Cooper count down and about 11:40 I went out to the family room and this is what I found:
So, Tyler and I turned on the music really loud and watch the ball drop in Times Square!
1) Loose 24 lbs. (I have already lost 4)
2) Spend time with the boys doing boy things.
3) Go to church and be happy about it. (like when I am teaching my CTR 7 class)
4) Enjoy Steve! (I have really had a hard time realizing that he is now able to be a husband and a father---I became so depended on myself while he was in Paramedic school so now I just need to become his partner again.)

Happy New Year to the Christian family. I am so proud of each of you. Keep up the good work. Love MOM
Happy New Year! It's going to be a good one now that Steve is finally finished with school! We'll get together soon! I just finished the Secret Life of... you know the rest! LOVED IT!! I cried so much at the end! I didn't want it to be over! It came together so nice at the end! What a great book! Thanks!
They have you teaching CTR 7! I'm sorry but that just isn't fair. I taught that class also and 6 days of 7 year olds can be a bit much for a person to handle. I know how you feel!
Hi Rachelle! Thanks for the congrats on our blog, it was great to hear from you. I love reading about you and your boys adventures (although from the looks of it, New Years Eve wasn't too adventurous at all...too cute!). Good luck with all your goals and school starting again.
Love, Luci
I was wondering if they stayed up. That is so funny. I am so excited for you to have Steve back! I can tell it means a lot to you, duh??
